What are the dates for the Festival?

How can I be programmed as part of DESERT FESTIVAL?  Our program for 2017 is now finalised, but keep your eyes peeled for when we open our Expression of Interest process for next year’s Festival.

Where does the Festival happen?
The Festival happens in and around Alice Springs, NT.

Where can I get a Festival guide?
Our printed guides will be available in the coming weeks. Make sure you follow us on Facebook to be kept in the loop.

Do I need to buy tickets?
Many DESERT FESTIVAL events are free, but some are ticketed. It’s best to check the event listings on this website to find out.

Who runs DESERT FESTIVAL?
The DESERT FESTIVAL is produced by Red Hot Arts Central Australia (RHACA).

Does the DESERT FESTIVAL run a schools program?
Yes, we work closely with many local schools to involve young people within the arts and cultural life of the Central Desert. Education staff, please contact us if you want to discuss possibilities.

Are the venues accessible?
Most venues are accessible but it does vary. It is best to check with the venue directly or contact us if you need further information. Please let us know if you have any feedback around this.
