Alice Art Walk
Alice Springs Town Council Presents: Alice Art Walk
Alice Springs is home to more than 60 public artworks, created by local, interstate and international artists, that reflect Alice Springs’ identity, vision, history and culture.
To support people to discover and learn about these artworks, Alice Springs now has an online public art map! The map has been developed by Alice Springs Town Council, and is being launched this Desert Festival 2020. As part of the launch, free guided public art walks are being offered for people to explore key artworks in the CBD. The walks will be lead by Central Arrernte Elder and Artist, Pat Ansell-Dodds and will go for 45 minutes.
Bookings are essential and spaces limited. Bookings are required by Monday 21 September, and can be made through [email protected] or 8950 0500. When booking, please indicate if you require live audio descriptions, or have other accessibility requirements.
Saturday 26th September | 10:00 am & 3:00 pm
Sunday 27th September | 3:00 pm
The online public art map was completed with support from the Northern Territory Government.
