Storm Dog VR

Throw yourself into Darwin, 2050 in Darwin-based artist Caro Macdonald’s short VR film, Storm Dog.

Visit the Desert Festival Hub, try on the virtual reality goggles and experience the realities of climate change in the Top End as a storm arrives and a dog goes missing.

About the Artist

Darwin-based filmmaker, visual artist and anthropologist Caro Macdonald creates works about people and place.

Caro has worked on a number of Territory projects, including recent VR artwork Storm Dog which imagines a climate change future in the Top End, as well as creating theatrical visuals for Tiwi band B2M. Caro is currently working on a half hour Al Jazeera documentary about Darwin’s Laksa Queen Amye Un, vying for a place in NT Parliament. Caro’s films have been broadcast and at festivals internationally.
