Desert Festival 2024 is almost here, and we need YOUR help to make it spectacular!
Running from September 27th to 29th in Mparntwe / Alice Springs, Desert Festival is Red Hot Art’s annual celebration of arts, culture, and community, offering a vibrant platform for Central Australian artists from diverse backgrounds and a range of artforms.
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate people to join our volunteer crew. Whether it’s handling ticketing, managing the merch stall, assisting behind the bar, or helping festival attendees, there’s a range of positions to suit skill sets and interests.

Volunteers need to be
- Aged 18 and above
- Happy to embrace Desert Festival’s values
- Available to work a minimum of 8 hours between 27-29 September, or 12 hours if completing hours shifts outside of the main event period.
- Flexible, reliable and friendly!
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Available to attend the Volunteer Induction on Monday 23rd September and any other necessary training required for their role.
Volunteer Induction & Trainings
- All volunteers attend the induction session and undergo necessary training sessions.
